Wa Na Wari Walk the Block Arts Festival 2022, Saturday Sept 17th
Join Wa Na Wari on Saturday, September 17th, 2pm-6pm, for the 2nd Annual Walk the Block arts festival and celebration. This year the starting point will be at the roof of Medgar Evers Pool near Seattle’s Garfield High School, where you can grab a Walk the Block official map of all the art sites and (back again) a racing bib from Vis-à-Vis Society’s interactive installation. Pre-registration is highly encouraged!
Walk the Block is a Central District art festival featuring the work of local, national, and international Black & Indigenous artists. Yards, porches, parks, gardens, & small businesses host visual art, performance, community stories, dance parties, & art installations.
